The Keystone Heights Innovation & Defense Campus team has completed its SOFWERX ecosystem registration and received access credentials.
SOFWERX serves as an innovation platform for U.S. Special Operations Command, bringing together participants from government, industry, academia, laboratories, and the broader innovation community to help address challenges facing Special Operations Forces.
A new channel for mission awareness
Ecosystem access gives the KHIDC team another way to learn about relevant challenges and engagement opportunities, share information across its network, and better understand the needs shaping defense innovation.
That perspective aligns with the KHIDC vision: start with the mission, understand the requirements, and help create the conditions where useful technologies can be developed, evaluated, refined, and scaled.
Access creates an opportunity to contribute
This registration is an important step in expanding KHIDC's connection to the defense innovation community. It does not represent a contract, endorsement, funding award, formal partnership, or commitment by SOFWERX or U.S. Special Operations Command.
As the proposed campus moves through planning, the team will continue building relationships and listening for the real-world requirements that should inform its development.
